For the last month or so, there has been a rumor about CGRA adding a little something extra to Rocky Mountain Regional Rodeo this year – a jackpot barrel race on Friday night. Well, on behalf of CGRA, I would like to address that rumor and set the record straight – uh, correct. Consider this the official word.  Consider this the formal notice…yes, yes, O-M-G and Holy Heck, YES!

An OPEN 5-D Jackpot Barrel Race - with added - Friday Night, 7/09, at the rodeo grounds!

This barrel race will NOT be sanctioned by anyone, so there will be no points awarded…and there will be no ribbons...no buckles...and no saddles, either. This is all about the money, honey!  And boy, do we plan to spread it generously through the payout. With a added and an xx% (yes, you ARE reading that right - xx%) return to the contestants, we are liberally paying six deep in each of the 5-Ds.

The entrance fee is with a one time office fee for processing.  Sign-up is limited to only xxx contestants.  We are  working with one of our local producers, Mile-Hi Barrel Horse, to bring you this event; and, a lot of local interest will probably lead to registration filling long before July ever gets here.

CGRA has reserved xx slots for IGRA association affiliate members coming to RMRR28 but only until June xx, 2010.
